Who We Are
The Miramichi Airport Commission was created in 1974 as a non-profit organization to manage the day-to-day operations of the Airport and to create an air cargo transportation hub. We are centrally located in Atlantic Canada, we are a certified airport (5899 feet) and have the potential to have the only 10,000 foot runway.
Our Goal: To be the Premier air cargo transportation hub in New Brunswick.
NEW 10,000 Foot Runway
To achieve our goal as the premier air cargo hub in New Brunswick, we will soon be opening our new 10,000 foot runway. During the summer of 2012, our runway will be completed and available for your cargo. Miramichi’s runway will have a new GBAS (WAAS) Category II (CAT II) Landing System.

Locating in Miramichi means your business will be strategically close to major markets including Toronto, Montreal, Boston and New York.
